Parkway Drive Tease Something Massive and Mysterious with Cryptic Symbols

Something's stirring in the Parkway Drive camp and it is set to be something massive. The Aussie metal juggernauts were dropping hourly cryptic symbols. No audio. No date. Just raw intrigue wrapped in mystery.  No one knew what it meant but it turns out these symbols were “ancient letters” spelling out the word "SACRED".

After decimating stages across their 20th anniversary tour and leaving a trail of scorched earth behind, the band’s been relatively quiet… until now. But silence never lasts long in the heavy world. With the Hellbound Cruise and a monumental performance booked at the Sydney Opera House next month (which doubles as the recording spot for their live album HOME) and the sudden appearance of these symbols, everyone is expecting something big to happen soon.

Let’s not forget: 2022’s Darker Still shifted the goalposts entirely. It wasn’t just another metal record; it was a cinematic, orchestrated beast that dug deep into mortality, evolution, and soul-searching. Although some hardcore Parkway fans believe that the band sold themselves out, the album opened the band up to a whole new audience which has skyrocketed them to one of the biggest, headlining arena filling bands.

A few hours ago, the band dropped one massive cryptic post with multiple symbols, which we have decrypted and it reads “Parkway Drive Sacred". So the question now is, is Sacred a new song that is going to be dropped soon? If that is the case, are the band setting up for a future album? And are Parkway going to lean further into that shadowy theatrical lane, or are we in for a vicious return to the fire-and-fury of their earlier days?

What ever it is, judging by the way these symbols are designed and have been launched, we can definitely expect that, whatever is coming, is going to be INSANE.
