Wolfgang Van Halen leads the charge with a face-melting new single, summoning monsters, mayhem, and metal legends in a hell-raising music video.

Mammoth, Wolfgang Van Halen’s hard-hitting rock project, seems to have dropped the “WVH” from the name and have roared back with a brand-new single, their first since Mammoth II dropped in 2023. The single, titled “The End,” explodes with modern rock energy, opening with a fiery finger tapping section that gives a nod to Wolfgang’s legendary father, Eddie Van Halen.
“I’ve had that tapping intro in my head since before the first Mammoth record,” Wolfgang explains. “It finally found the right place here. It’s intense and technical, but it also keeps things melodic and grounded. I experimented more with this record overall, and once we wrapped up The End, I knew it was something special.”
The accompanying music video is a wild ride, Mammoth get invited to tear up a bar that looks straight out of From Dusk Till Dawn, complete with a greeting from Danny Trejo, appearances from Wolfgang’s mom Valerie Bertinelli, Slash, Myles Kennedy, and of course a gang of flesh eating zombies and werewolves.
Myles Kennedy will also be joining Mammoth as support when The End Tour kicks off in late October. Presale tickets went live on May 5, with general sales opening on May 9. Until then, Mammoth is hitting the road with Seether and Creed across the U.S, while Wolfgang is also slated to appear at the Black Sabbath reunion show in Birmingham this July.
